Congratulations to BMVFD member Jim Brooks! The Avery County Fire Association presented him with the “Life Time Achievement Award” for his 49 years of fire service to the community. The presentation was made at the annual awards meeting 11/5/20 in Newland.  Jim was also recognized at 11/10/20 Beech Mountain Town Council Meeting.
