Website New Look and Info!
Our NEW BMVFD Website offers a wide array of fire and life safety information. Our safety page includes videos, infographics, downloadable checklists, and shareable social media images. Please browse and share these critical resources with your family, friends, and neighbors. This “user-friendly” information is also great to share with seasonal visitors and renters who are unfamiliar with our mountain.
The 2020 BBQ Cookoff, BMVFD’s NEW Fundraising event was canceled this year due to Covid-19 restrictions. Next year, get ready for this exciting food competition complete with “Tasting Tent”, live music, plenty of food, and fun up at the Kite Field. Our new website will share “Save the Date” and other event information as soon as a date is confirmed. Proceeds to benefit the BMVFD. If you are looking to give sooner, see our new donate page. The Department graciously appreciates your continued support.
With only a little more than half of the year completed, the BMVFD has already exceeded the number of calls answered by 30% in the same period of 2019. Preparing to handle the COVID-19 situation and training volunteers to adapt to this new challenge has been a major priority this year. We’ve encouraged residents and visitors to comply with safe distancing and other governmental guidance and continue to support our community’s needs.
We hope your family and friends stay well and safe for the remainder of the year. As always, thank you for supporting your local volunteer fire department, and thanks for checking out and sharing our new website. We are here for you.
